• Plant Safety Regulations (PSR) & Operating Regulations for High Voltage Systems authorization
• Water treatment plant and training course
• First aid & fire fighting
• Health and safety representative course
• Certified plant operator as per the Department of Water & Sanitation (DWS)
• Hazardous chemical substance handling course
• Hazardous materials (Hazmat) course
• Root cause analysis

• Operate water treatment plant process
• Comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) & Eskom regulations
• Perform supervisory duties
• Coach & mentor employees

Minimum requirements

Grade 12/NCV4/NSC3/N3 with Maths, Science and Languages/Further Education and Training Certificate Water and Wastewater Treatment Process Control Supervision at NQF4 with 120 credits
